Check these five things first
Before assuming a code is dead, run through this list — most "broken" codes fail for one of these reasons.
1. Extra spaces or characters
Typing a code by hand often adds a trailing space or swaps a zero for the letter O. Use copy-paste instead of retyping, and check the field for stray whitespace before hitting apply.
2. Minimum order value not met
Many codes only activate above a set spend — often shown in small print like "on orders over $50." Add the amount shown to your cart and the code should activate.
3. Excluded items in your cart
Sale items, gift cards, and certain brands are frequently excluded from sitewide codes. Remove any discounted or clearance items from your cart and try again.
4. One code per order
Most checkouts only accept a single promo code. If you've already applied one code, remove it before trying a different one — most carts silently keep the first code and ignore the second.
5. The code expired since it was checked
Promotions can end without notice, even mid-day. If the offer page shows the code as PASS but it still fails, refresh the page — codes are re-tested every 24 hours, and a code that just expired will be re-stamped VOID on its next check.
Still not working?
Try a different browser or clear your cart and start over — some checkouts cache an old cart total that won't recalculate. If none of that helps, the safest bet is to pick a different live offer from the same store rather than keep retrying a code that's likely expired.
